I wonder what will happen

Proclamation against Syria and Israel Isaiah 17:1-3   “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, And it will be a ruinous heap.   The cities of Aroer are forsaken; [ a ] They will be for flocks Which lie down, and no one will make them afraid.   The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, The kingdom from Damascus, And the remnant of Syria; They will be as the glory of the children of Israel,” Says the Lord of hosts.   Damascus ( Arabic: دمشق ‎ , transliteration: Dimashq, also commonly known as الشام ash-Shām ) is the capital and largest city of Syria. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. It has never been completely destroyed during its long history.    http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/20

squash

I took a few photos of the squash we have grown in our garden.   We have 4 kinds of zucchini, summer squash, butternut, spaghetti squash, and snack gourds, and pumpkins.   I also baked squash, peppers, onions and garlic in the oven.   Then I blended the vegetables together with beef bouillon, herbs, and coconut milk.   It made a very good soup.   There is nearly nothing left!   When you bake onions, peppers and garlic they become very sweet and mellow.

Pray

The census for Iraq in 1987 counted 1.4 million Christians. People began to leave in the 1990s when the sanctions imposed on Saddam Hussein by the United Nations began.   Today nearly all the Christians have had to leave the country or have been killed.   Did you know that when Jonah preached to the people in Nineveh they repented and worshipped God?   And Thomas the Disciple of Jesus stopped in Nineveh to share with them that their Messiah had come.   So they converted to Christianity. The ancient city of Nineveh   is   the modern-day   city of Mosul.   over 130,000 people have had to flee Syria this weekend.  Over 800,000 displaced people now crowd into camps in Turkey .  The situation is very bad.
