Some times when you hear a message over and over in a short period of time you just know God is trying to get your attention. One topic I have been hearing and reading is that Israel has given a great gift to the world. We owe a great debt to Israel! Through Israel we have the law, the prophets, all of the Bible (except maybe the book of Luke), and Jesus. In Genesis 12:2-3 God say to Abram,
"I will make you into a great nation
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you."
Our family was blessed to travel to Israel about 2 years ago. Every Christian who has been there will tell you the same thing; the Bible comes alive in Israel! If you have the chance to travel there you should take it! I believe it is the center of the world. It is where Jesus will return (to the Mt of Olives). The whole world will come against Israel, but Gods promises are eternal! Everyone who blesses Israel will be blessed by God, and anyone who curses Israel will be cursed by God! Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and our salvation has come from the Jews!
