I'm feeling pretty run down. I guess that shouldn't come as a big surprise to anyone. Juergen put Philip's floor in today. We also put up the curtains in the kitchen, Nicole's room and the living room. The curtain rods are xxl, so they cost allot. The windows in those 3 rooms are very large. That gives us great light but also gives us allot of window to cover.
My niece had a beautiful baby girl named Olivia Rose (Beautiful name). Everyone is very excited and thank God healthy! Congratulations to the whole family! Hugs to my sister Shelley who is now a proud grandma for the 2nd time. My sister Dianna has 6 grand kids (I think). My brother and I are too young for such an blessing. At least our kids are too young. I'm going to have to wait to be called grandma. Here is a cool picture I took off Shelley's blog. It shows Eric (the tired but proud grandpa) Lissa with her first daughter Charlotte, and then a sleeping Olivia Rose. 3 generations in one shot. How fast life goes by! How beautiful life can be!

Go to your plumbing department in your local hardware store , you can use galvanized, copper, or black plastic PVC pipes, for curtain rods. You can paint them or leave them industrial looking. A cheaper option. You can also cut to the length you want. Then at the end of the pipes you can create your own finials. buy putting a wooden dowel as a plug in the hole of the pipe. Then put a decorative knob or fence finial from fence post.
This link tells you how to make cheap curtain rods.
Also branches, fishing poles, hockey sticks, etc... make good rods too.
