The house here is very nice. The kids are getting along very well. We have had some really bad weather, but it is improving. Juergen spent a few hours at the beach with the kids. Now I will go to the beach with Nicole and Juergen will look after Jessica.

Poor Jessica is home with a very bad cold.   Her nose is bleeding from being so dry.   I just put oil drops in her nose and smothered her in Vicks Vapor rub.   And of course I'm getting her cold too.   I don't know how I could avoid it, she has been sneezing in my face all week.  

I'm planting my pumpkins. I'm not trying to grow the big kind, just the ones you eat.

We have material for the chicken run, the chicken coop, the feeder, the water, and I just ordered the food. Juergen gets next week off.   I'm hoping he can put it all together for me.   Maybe we will finally get our chicks.   Some things do take time, but ok...that is life. Hoping to have chicken by the 2nd week in June.  

Tonight I watched Karate Kid with all 5 of my kids. Jessica does not generally watch a movie with us. But she sat on the floor in the living room spell bound. This was my mothers day high point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ER9VUcvWTSo

  I got to see my  son Thomas put together an engine today at SEW.  I was so excited and proud.  He starts a 3 1/2 year  apprenticeship as an industry mechanic in the fall. Juergen is flying to India today.  He gets to come home in the middle of next week.  I'm so tired I can not discrib it.  Jessica has not been sleeping well.  But I know Juergen will also be very tired when he gets home.  I'm just so glad he does not need to travel much.  In this way we are very blessed.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tt2yfznRYL4 This is a video about SEW.
